REACTIVE TECHNOLOGY
Speed Broadheads feature Reactive Technology—a precision micro piston embedded in the ferrule. Under acceleration, inertial force drives the piston backwards, mechanically locking the blades for stable aerodynamic flight.
The system dynamically tightens with increased velocity. The piston rapidly returns to its preload state during flight and upon impact releases the blades with only 1.5 lbs of force. This ensures consistent deployment, optimal energy transfer, and verified performance at 200+ fps with vertical bows to more than 500+ fps with crossbows.
